18 Jan Dream Big and Use Wisdom
“Every Champion was once a Contender that Refused to Give Up” –Author Unknown
Many of us have dreams, and desire to do some great things. We usually share all of our dreams with friends and those who we feel will support us in our endeavors.
I admonish you as a dreamer, to really seek God in your desire to share your dreams with others. Everyone who you think is for you is not for you. Learn to use wisdom and discernment.
Many will seek to destroy your dreams and will try to discourage you from doing what you know in your heart to do. Wisdom doesn’t always come with age. Sometimes wisdom comes from experience. Just because someone is older in age doesn’t mean that they’ve traveled the path needed to lead and guide your dream.
Dreamers, surround yourselves with a small circle of positive people who you know without a shadow of a doubt support you. If you’re a published author, songwriter, recording artist, business owner, etc, and your “so called friends” have never been to your business to support you, never read any of your books, can’t sing one song from your album, then maybe it’s time to re-evaluate and surround yourselves with people who are actually for you.
Be smart when sharing your ideas, goals, and dreams with others. Again, everyone is not for you. Finally, Continue to press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus. (Phillippians 3:14) With Christ you will always win!!
