Learn More About Will Harris

Will Harris is a renowned musician, and singer. A native of Oxford, Mississippi, he began playing the piano and singing in church at an early age. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in  Vocal Music from Rust College in Holly Springs, Mississippi and a Master of Education Degree in Teacher Leadership from the University of Phoenix. Harris is presently a student at The Robert Webber Institute for Worship Studies in Jacksonville, Florida where he is pursuing a Doctorate of Worship Studies Degree.


Will Harris has performed as a baritone soloist in such operas as Amahl and the Night Visitors, Porgy and Bess, and The Promise. He has also performed in the stage play, Lillies of the Field.


Mr. Harris serves as Minister of Music of Lewis Chapel Baptist Church, in Fayetteville, NC and he is the former president of the Raleigh, North Carolina- Eastern Area Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America. In 2012 Harris lead the expansive music ministry of Lewis Chapel Baptist Church in their first Live CD and DVD Recording titled “Everything to God in Prayer.”


In 2016, Harris was inducted into the Fayetteville Observer 40 under 40, and he was the recipient of the Dr. Brooksie E. Harrington and Fayetteville State University Gospel Choir Music Trailblazer Award.


In 2017, Will Harris recorded his most recent CD Project “A Songwriters Journal,” Live in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
